The breakoffplugs are manufactured in stainless steel or a glass-reinforced nylon (GRN) material. Both materials are corrosion resistant and ideal for submerged operation indefinitely or until the pump or pipe has to be removed from the column.
The GRN breakoffplug is the only breakoffplug available on the market that has been approved by the National Sanitation Federation for use with Potable Water.
